Well, I can't say I'm upset about having the day off! I'm definitely going to have to re-think the grading of homework with over 180 of y'all and only one...very non-focused of me! :) My SPA112ON class has submitted 2 assignments and I'm already looking forward to Spring Break! SPA161 Cultural Immersion
Introduction to Spanish-speaking Countries... powerpoint
Discussion questions:
  • Have you ever been to a Spanish-speaking country?
  • Have you ever been abroad?
  • What do you know about the Spanish-speaking world?
  • If money was no option and you could go abroad, where would you go and why?

SPI113 Intro to Interpreting
This is going to be slightly challenging, because this class will be done via Moodle, WHICH I'm very excited about being apart of this pilot program, HOWEVER we need to have an info section on how to access and how to use Moodle, so here are some things to think about until we meet next week.
  • What is interpreting?
  • What is translating?
  • Why do you think people use interpreting and translating interchangeably?
You can respond here at this blog.

SPI213 Review of Grammar (8 week course)
Module 1: Nouns and Pronouns, the grammar notes are listed on blackboard. I'll try to upload them to my webpage tomorrow. If I can, I'll link them to this page.

I'm think that this is enough...HOWEVER, if I think of anything else. I'll add it.
Have a fabulous evening and you know how to reach me if you need me!
